As the exclusive tech hub bridging Silicon Valley’s & Brazil’s business and professional community, BayBrazil has been playing an instrumental role in connecting the Brazilian diaspora.
On October 4th of 2013, BayBrazil’s leadership was recognized at the launch of the Brazilian diaspora network. Founder & CEO Margarise Correa was a guest speaker at the launching event at the MIT Sloan School of Management to talk about BayBrazil’s pioneer work and activities in Silicon Valley.
And, on Dec 7, 2013, BayBrazil hosted a diaspora meeting at Stanford University along with the Brazilian Government’s Agency for Industrial Development in the Ministry of Development, Industry and Commerce.
Brazilian scholars, executives from various Silicon Valley universities and companies exchanged ideas on how to engage the diaspora in the U.S. with Brazil.
