M&A Brazil: Equipment manufacturer WEG has acquired the industrial electric motor and generator business of U.S.-based Regal Rexnord Corporation. The largest acquisition in the company’s history is expected to be worth $400 million and will open up space in strategic markets such as North America and Asia-Pacific, where the company is gaining strength, especially in China and India.
