VAAS, a startup that helps corporate clients to streamline and automate risk management, raised R$ 20 million in a Series A round led by Headline, with participation from ABSeed and Honey Island. The funding will be used to expand operations and strengthen its AI-powered platform, which centralizes compliance, credit, and fraud prevention processes for corporate clients.

Healthtech Axenya secured US$ 12 million (R$ 65 million) in a Series A round led by Canary with co-lead Indicator Capital and participation from Zentynel. 

Axenya uses AI and data intelligence to optimize corporate healthcare and predictive wellness.

Starian, a leading multi-vertical software provider to the private sector in Brazil, raised R$ 640 million (over US$ 115 million) in strategic funding from General Atlantic, which acquired a significant minority stake.

Iniciador, a fintech focused on Open Finance infrastructure and Pix solutions, raised R$ 32 million in a Series A round led by Valor Capital Group, with participation from Big Bets, Alter Global, Actyus, and Norte Ventures.

The funds will be used to enhance technology, scale infrastructure, and expand its product portfolio—including payment initiation and advanced Pix modalities such as biometric, proximity, and automatic Pix. Since 2024, the company has quadrupled its client base and now supports around 60% of ITPs using Pix Automático and more than half of those using Pix by Biometry.

Inhire, a Brazilian HRtech spin-off from Intera, raised a new funding round led by DGF and Bridge One, with support from Endeavor Scale-Up Ventures. Although the company did not disclose the exact amount, market sources indicate the deal was for less than R$ 50 million, and the funds will be directed to expand its presence among large enterprises and strengthen its AI-driven recruitment platform.

Inhire leverages artificial intelligence to compete with players like Gupy in the enterprise recruitment market.

Eve, the eVTOL manufacturer controlled by aviation giant Embraer, raised US$ 230 million through a direct share offering led by BNDESPar, with additional participation from Embraer and other Brazilian and U.S. funds.

The funding will provide a cash runway of about three years, supporting operations, R&D, industrialization, debt repayment, and payments for services in Brazil, while enabling Eve to achieve eVTOL certification by 2027.

Olist, a Brazilian SaaS unicorn, acquired fintech Flip and raised R$ 90 million through a receivables investment fund (FDIC) to expand into credit services. The deal, structured with cash and stock, also brings Flip’s founders as new partners and executives. This strategic move aims to offer integrated credit solutions to Olist’s clients, with expectations that credit services will account for 50% of revenue within two years.
